When a mobile tyre service makes sense
Most of us only think about tyres when something goes wrong, and it rarely goes wrong at a convenient moment. A mobile tyre service is built for those moments.
- You have a flat tyre at home and the spare is also flat, missing, or you simply do not want to change it in the heat.
- You are parked at work and cannot spare time for a trip to a workshop.
- You found a nail or screw in the tyre and it is losing air slowly.
- You want a tyre change at home without driving on a worn tyre.
- You are stuck somewhere safe and need help getting the tyre sorted.
In UAE summers, standing next to a car on hot tarmac is no fun. Having someone come to you can be the safer choice for you and your family.
What we can help with at your location
Away from the shop, we can help with two main things:
- Mobile puncture repair. If the damage is in a repairable part of the tread, a puncture can often be fixed. See our puncture repair page for how repairs work and when a tyre cannot be repaired.
- Tyre change. If the tyre is beyond repair, we can discuss replacing it, provided we have the right size in stock. Call or WhatsApp first so we can check.
Some jobs are better done at the workshop, such as wheel balancing and alignment. If that is the case, we will say so honestly rather than cut corners at the roadside.
How to request mobile service
- Send a WhatsApp message to 050 019 0193.
- Share your location using the WhatsApp location pin, so we know exactly where you are.
- Tell us the problem. Is it a flat, a slow leak, or a damaged tyre?
- Send your car model and tyre size. A photo of the sidewall code is perfect.
- Add a photo of the damage if you can. We can often tell a lot from it.
- Wait for our reply. We will confirm whether we can come, and talk through timing and details.
We do not quote a fixed coverage area or arrival time on this page, because it depends on where you are and how busy the day is. Message us and we will give you a straight answer.
Before we arrive: stay safe
If your tyre has gone flat while you are driving, your safety comes first.
- Pull over as far from traffic as you can, ideally off the carriageway and on level ground.
- Switch on your hazard lights.
- On a highway, keep well away from moving traffic. Wait behind the barrier if you can do so safely.
- Do not keep driving on a flat tyre. It can ruin the tyre beyond repair and damage the wheel.
- If the spot is dangerous, contact the emergency services or road assistance first.
Then message us your location and details, and we will tell you what we can do.
Tips to make it smoother
- Park somewhere flat, with space to work around the car.
- Keep your locking wheel nut key to hand. Without it, the wheel cannot come off.
- If the car has a spare, tell us whether it is in good condition.
- Shade helps everyone, so if you can park in a shaded spot, do.
- Tell us if the wheel is alloy or steel, and if the car has tyre pressure sensors.
What a mobile visit cannot always do
Being honest about limits saves you time. A roadside or driveway is not a workshop, and a few jobs need the full set of equipment at the shop.
- A tyre with sidewall damage or a bulge cannot be repaired safely and will need replacing.
- A new tyre depends on us having your size in stock, so we check before we promise anything.
- Wheel balancing and alignment are workshop jobs. If your car shakes at speed after a repair, bring it in.
If we cannot do what you need on site, we will tell you straight away and suggest the next best step, whether that is a visit to the shop or a different kind of help.
Mobile service or workshop visit?
Use mobile service when you cannot safely drive or cannot get away. If you can drive a short way on a slowly leaking tyre, a workshop visit often lets us do more: a full inspection, balancing, alignment, plus nitrogen inflation and the free safety check. Our shop in Shakhbout City is open late, so there is room for both. Details on the Shakhbout City tyre shop page.
Message us now
Stock changes and we respond to each request individually. WhatsApp us your location and the problem, or call us on 050 019 0193 if you prefer to talk. We stock all tyre sizes and major brands, and you can browse on our tyres page. Need directions to the shop instead? See the contact page.
Frequently asked questions
Do you offer mobile tyre service in Abu Dhabi?
Yes. We offer a mobile tyre service for tyre problems at your home, work or roadside. WhatsApp your location and the problem to 050 019 0193 and we will confirm whether we can come to you.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Shakhbout City and cannot promise one fixed coverage area. Send us your location on WhatsApp with a short description of the problem, and we will confirm whether we can reach you and what we can do when we get there.
How long will you take to arrive?
It depends on where you are and how busy we are, so we do not promise a fixed time. Message us your location and we will give you an honest idea when we reply.
Can you repair a puncture at my home?
Often yes, if the damage is in a repairable part of the tread, such as a nail or screw hole. Sidewall damage cannot be repaired safely and the tyre would need replacing. Send a photo of the tyre by WhatsApp and we will advise you.
Do I need to know my tyre size?
It helps if we need to supply a new tyre. Read the code on the sidewall, such as 225/65 R17, or just send a clear photo of it on WhatsApp. We will then check whether we have your size in stock before we confirm anything.
What should I do if I am on the highway?
Get to a safe place away from traffic, switch on hazard lights and do not keep driving on a flat tyre. If the situation is dangerous, contact emergency services first, then message us.
